How long do treatments usually last?
Reflexology treatments run 30, 60 or 90 minutes. First-time clients may require additional 10-15 minutes for consultation and questions. Follow-up appointments may only need an additional 5-10 minutes.
How often are treatments recommended?
A majority of people benefit from monthly reflexology treatments, although every case is unique and some people may require a weekly session for a short time. Space between treatments can vary from weekly to monthly, depending on your situation.
What will happen in my session?
Reflexology and RLD appointments include a short consultation, treatment and if determined necessary, the development of an ongoing treatment plan. You'll begin by removing your shoes and socks, otherwise fully dressed and recline on a massage table. Lorri uses gentle pressure while working the reflexes. Don't be surprised to find yourself drifting off. Young Living essential oils may be used on the feet during the session.
**Reflexology can also be on the hands. If you prefer to have hand reflexology, please let us know before your appointment.
With RLD the Fluid of the lymphphatic system reflexes moves gently through the body. You may have a feeling of movement within your body while the fluid begins to move.
Lorri has found well over 95% of her clients need the lymph drain, so she has incorporated it right into the reflexology treatment. You will receive two services for one price!! Of course reflexology and RLD can be seperated, if you choose.
Does Lorri ever make house calls?
If the need arrises, yes. There are times after a surgery when the body is experiencing a rise in inflammation. RLD is amazing for reducing inflammation, especially after knee or hip surgery. *For best results it is recommended to schedule 4 appointments within 2-3 weeks after surgery.
